A fantastic park with reasonable Sunday parking at £1.50 for the whole day. Abundant walking trails along the river, made even better if you try a hiking app called Komoot. It's a kid's paradise, boasting climbing nets, swings, and even a mini rock climbing area. Don't forget the skateboarding spot and sand pit. Football goals for the sporty, and dogs roam freely (be aware). Adjacent to a large Sainsbury's for all your picnic needs. This place has it all - football, tennis, picnics, playtime, scenic walks with barges, cows, and more. People paddle boarding, fishing, and swimming too. Definitely worth revisiting. One caveat: public toilets need attention. Male toilets open, female and disabled closed, and a toilet paper shortage in the men's. An ice cream van nearby on the day was a sweet surprise though. Overall, a five-star gem with a minor maintenance hiccup. To make it even cooler, consider offering electric scooter or e-bike rentals - the pathways seem ready for them. Pro tip: Buy something at Sainsbury's for access to their customer toilets. Enjoy your visit!

The park is situated alongside the River Lea, providing picturesque views and opportunities for river walks. There is also a riverside path that you can follow, which offers a pleasant route for strolling or cycling... The park offers a large expanse of green areas, perfect for picnics, leisurely walks, and outdoor activities.

We went for a family day out on a very hot Sunday. It was the first week of the summer holidays but to my disappointment, all the public toilets were out if use including the disabled one. Unbelievable considering being in the muddle of the svhool, summer holidays. Also, there was a very noisy fun fair there which the kids obviously wanted to go into. Very expensive and rubbish. The cafe, inside the leisure centre was the last straw. Only card payments accepted. Disgusting. I could not send the young kids in to even buy ice cream as they don't take cash. It's not somewhere I'll be going again. Get yoour act together East...

Lovely place but the Riverside Walk was much longer than expected and there was a lack of signage and maps along the way so were unable to keep track of where we were and how far we'd walked. We ended up having to turn back at Ware after walking almost an hour as we realised we weren't even halfway through the Walk loop. Really beautiful place but more signage would've made the experience even better as we turned around when we had almost reached our limit; making the hour long walk back a great workout, but not as enjoyable as...
