Like walking back in time.A lovely geuine old time kinda place..The chippy called the Dolphin sells the best and most wonderful fresh cod in the whole of the UK..its as huge as a baby whale...in the most deliciously perfectly cooked golden bubbly crispy batter that you will ever taste..chips are beautiful too.Gordon Ramsey should pop down there to see how to really cook fish and chips.The small street of shops is let down here, as most shops seem to be shut and there arent many if any to be honest,sea sidey toristy or kids toys shops or any amusements either..but saying that in 1 direction theres ingoldmells and its fun fare and markets and in the other direction theres lovely mablethorpe for all the family..I think sutton is for the older generation to potter around in peace..10 outta 10...
Read moreThe new Collonade st Sutton is, in my opinion a total waste of money. I believe it cost around £6.4M and I was not impressed at all. We took the lift to the top floor. Both doors were locked. One to the Horizon Room which just had easles in it the other led to an.iutside area. No seats or chairs just totally bare and that door was locked. Down in the lift to the cafe. That was busy but most prices were high. We could nit see prices fir the food at all. My thoughts go to the cafe owners on the high street, they ate obviously losing business to.the bew boy on the block. We will not be visiting the Collanade again, just a very expensive...
Read moreIt's a beach It's next to the sea, so you may get wet, so not suitable for people.with water allergies. It's made of sand, you can dig in sand with these things called buckets and spades, which they conveniently sell on the beach for a similar price to a JCB on eBay, which could make much bigger sandcastles. If you take small children they tend to want to run away. I found digging a large hole and burying them chest deep helps overcome this though. The only thing missing from the beach and surrounding area was the pungent smell of cannabis that you expect to find at these places, it was nice to not...
