Cafe & Cream — Restaurant in East Lindsey

I live locally and when I do go out for breakfast/lunch I would normally go to Cafe & Cream. Not any more. Today we went in, the tables were busy but there were two tables empty. Both pilled high with crockery and on our table on large plate and one small plate. Several people did not have food, but just cups, no plates, I ensured I looked as we left. The staff told us that they did not have any plates ... yes process that for a moment, a cafe that does not have plates ... and it would take around 30 minutes to get a plate. Really? It takes most of us around a minute to wash and dry a plate well ... clearly they do not want our business or any recommendations ... off to the Coffee Pot in Mablethorpe it is then. Excellent Breakfast. GLUTEN FREE!! We had 2 large English breakfast for under £10 each with free coffee. Excellent service with a smile and the locals were flooding the place with open conversations such a friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend
