Normally this would be getting full 5☆ from me but sadly this visit NO The food was disappointing I was not allowed to have one main come out with the other starters as that person didn't want a starter there was more bones in the Mackrell pate than flesh so it was inedible and was left all be it 2 bites missing, Next the mussels 70% weren't open 🤮 The smell on all our clothes from the small dining room in front of the kitchen was horrendous and obviously not what you expect when you get dressed to go out for dinner to leave the restaurant smelling so bad off grease and cooking smells, The staff the lady with the dark hair and glasses so so rude and the most unhelpful person I've met in there The young man tall with the glasses a delight and definitely as always polite and friendly. This is by far the best Bar/Restaurant in the Sutton/ Mablethorpe area. There has been a very nice refurb since we came last year and they have done a very nice job. The place is divided into multiple areas, which include: the main bar (no food served), an indoor sunroom for those with pets, a conservatory dining area, and a lounge bar/dining space. All areas are comfortable and well decorated. During the week last orders for food in the day is around 13.45 with evening service starting at 17.00. We visited on a Thursday in mid to late May, and the tables for evening food were fully booked! You will see from the specials board that the choice is pretty amazing and certainly better than anything we has seen on restaurant menus in the area. Went too Beach bar for birthday late lunch. Went at 2pm as after looking at there Web site said open bar and grill till 11pm. Advised on Web site that not to busy around 2pm. So planned to enjoy birthday meal with freind. Arrived to be told finished serving food until 5pm. Ruined my birthday plans. I did talk to a member of staff. I showed her Web site. Showed her it states bar and grill open till 11pm. Lady apologised. But I was very disappointed, as birthday treat. I suggested that the Web site needs attention to not be misleading. Disappointed. Wasted journey.

Glad to see you took my advice and have changed your Web site details today. To say only bar open 11am to 11pm . As it was very misleading. A note of acceptance & an apology would have been nice. It was a spoiled special...
