Chalkwell Beach is one of my favourite spots in Southend-on-Sea. I often come here on weekends to relax, sunbathe, and walk along the shore. The beach is clean and spacious, with a lovely view across the Thames Estuary. At low tide, there’s plenty of room to stroll, and at high tide, the water is inviting for a refreshing dip.
What I really love is the calm and peaceful atmosphere – it’s the perfect place to clear your mind and let go of stress. Just sitting by the sea, listening to the waves, always makes me feel refreshed. The promenade is great for a leisurely walk, and there are cafés nearby if you fancy a tea, coffee, or ice cream.
Whether you’re with family, friends, or just looking for a quiet moment by yourself, Chalkwell Beach is a wonderful choice. It’s a place that always makes my weekends brighter and helps...

Couldn’t do bbq while everyone else literally does it here every other sunny weekend. Anyways, can’t do bbq here and the lack of common sense of our fellow bimbo citizens are to blame. Shame coz the view is actually nice and everyone was sensible & wouldn’t cause any disturbance to anyone. Beware there are no signs that bbq...
