I was really disappointed with my meal at La Sirena. The food was nice but the real problem was the complete disregard for social distancing and the horrible restaurant environment. We were sat at a table in the middle of the crowded restaurant with waiters rushing past us continuously throughout the meal- they knocked into me multiple times throughout the night and we also had to move so they could push tables and chairs through the gap. Our table locations meant it was impossible to social distance and none of the waiters made any effort to distance from us. We did ask to move but it was fully booked so we could not. Waiters coughed without covering their mouths right next to us and none of the tables were sanitised between customers. The food was outstanding. Freshly made pasta cooked to perfection, beautifully presented seafood, and a tiramisu that was easily the best I’ve ever had. Every course felt full of flavour and prepared with real care.

Read moreI have been hear at least 4 times. I was disapointed with the food this time. I ordered a T bone steak medium rare, which was almost £30.00 without the extra veg. This would be ok if the quality of the meat warranted this price. However the steak was so thin it would be almost impossible to cook medium rare. I do appreciate that business need to recover from disruption and prices will be more expensive but they will loose customers if they think they are not getting value for their money.
