It is the resting place of Queen Victoria's mother. It is nearby Queen Victoria and Prince Albert Mausoleum connected by a bridge over a pound at Frogmore. The access is only available twice a year: usually in May and in August / September for a limited number of days. The Duchess of Kent spent the last years of her life at Frogmore House, which is located behind the Mausoleum. The top part of it was originally intended as her summer house, with the lower level of the structure to be the site of her internment.
