Well it’s safe to say we will definitely be back to explore this absolutely breathtaking natural beauty. We were there for about 45 minutes and only passed a few other dog walkers. This park is extremely well cared for and is super tidy….There is also a few interesting information boards dotted around the park. It’s a 5 from us and a 🐾 from Misty.

Probably one of the nicest little hidden rural gems. Perfect for a trip out with kids. But make sure you have some wellies on and clothes you're not afraid to get muddy in that case.

Local wildlife idyll, created by wealthy banker Charles Leatham in 1857. A greenspace escape, ideal for peaceful early morning dog and family adventure walks.

A small park ideal to let dog and kids have a run around, maintenance is pretty good, plenty of bins for litter and dog waste, no public amenities, plenty of space on grass for a picnic weather permitting, bench type seating in places, there's out side gym equipment dotted about, you can reach fairly dell easily from the park.

Update: Some well over due maintenance as recently been carried out on the pond clearing out the over run of Bulrushes, Good job who done this, it looks a ton better, you can now see how big this pond is, the wild life will be loving all the clear open water :-) You can see the before and after in photos...

Lovely Park, a great place for a walk. I particularly liked the different sculptures carved from wood. There are some parking spaces opposite the park entrance (On Gunnergate Lane), although not many so you may struggle to find parking at busy times. The footpaths in some areas are very muddy, and many of the steps and the decking walkway could do with...

Lovely park it has a few of those exercise machines dotted about and you can let your dog off of its lead.... Nip to the parkway centre, grab a sandwich, drink, whatever and...
