Greggs — Restaurant in England

Love Greggs in general, the review is about this particular store and the service.

The sandwich selection in this store is the worst of any Gregg's store I've visited around town (more or less all of them!) but here, it seems there hardly ever any sandwiches out whatever time of day you arrive.

As for the service, it's generally good but recently they made an error with a breakfast order. I asked for a sausage and bacon baguette, but when I got home it was just bacon. Fairly minor and easily fixed, they'll just give me free sausages in it next time I go, right?

No... next time I went I mentioned this to the lady serving me (who I also believe is the manager), and instead of apologising or offering me a free upgrade she just said "well we mark the bag with your order so you should have got the right one". Yes, but I didn't. No offer to fix things at all. It won't stop me using Gregg's or this store as it's the most convenient for me, but they...

I visited Greggs on South Parkway this morning, and I was extremely disappointed. The woman with glasses was incredibly rude and dismissive. From the moment I walked in, her attitude made me feel unwelcome. She seemed irritated by simple questions and offered no help or courtesy.

The overall service was shockingly poor, and I felt like my business wasn’t valued at all. It's clear that customer care isn’t a priority here. I left feeling frustrated and unappreciated. I won’t be returning, and I recommend others look elsewhere for...

What's to say....the pastries and cakes are naughty but nice and the service is good. Like the speed of coffee and tea service with modern machines instead of waiting for ages just to satisfy the perceived public demand for a barista everywhere. Seems they've got it right with the takeaway and small seating cafe layout. We go when we are shopping but ONLY if we have pastry credits in our weekly...
