Absolutely abysmal place and appalling staff. . Ordered a wild variety bucket and got home minus any of the 4 fries it was supposed to come with. Went back and was given the fries and unfortunately they were cold. I was then told by Niamh the trainee quite abruptly and very rudely that "hot fries would be a wait of 5 minutes". I then explained that the rest of my order ( the chicken) would be cold after already being in my car for the 10 minutes duration of the trip back to the store. Given that I'd spent 18.99 on an order I then asked for a refund as cold chicken and hot fries which I was going to have to wait for was not really good enough. I gave the trainee the full order back with £1.01 to enable the return of my 20.00 note I paid with Unfortunately the trainee was very cocky and went to give me 10.00 in 50p pieces for my 20.00 refund. I refused to take the shrapnel of coins of 10.00 in 50p s absolutely shocking. This was pure shocking customer service where the staff thought being awkward was being clever. James the store/ duty manager was no better unfortunately telling me that the 10.00 of 50p s was all they had . This caused a queue as James seemed not to understand the fact that I had given the trainee 20.00 and expected my 20.00 note back. This place deserves no stars and as for niamh and James the manager. He needs to be retrained on customer service not customer abuse. I was simply trying to collect hot food I had paid in full for. Head office will be receiving a complaint. Disgraceful conduct. A...
Read moreThe quisine of this fine fast food restaurant was tremendously tasty, however I have a slight complaint.
As my step-father (let's name him Dick Burns) pulled up into the car park with our black BMW, me and my beloved mother unclipped our seat belts, waited patiently for my step-father to park and then opened the car door, stepped outside and then shut it.
You could smell the Kentucky Fried Chicken as soon as you opened the door which, for me, is an unpleasant feeling. We then took approximately half a minute to stride into the well-decorated restaurant. We then ordered (our order costing £30.94) and approached the waiting counter.
The service was great, and, just about fast. We recieved our food, saying, 'thank you!' as we walked away. As I sipped my orange flavoured Tango, me and my mother opened the car door, sat back down in our seat, closed the door again, clipped our seat belts in and off home we went.
We got home six minutes later, then sat at the table, opened our food only to find that they had forgotten that there were two large popcorn chicken buckets, but we only got one (mine). So we then rang up to tell them, and they said that we may have two extra popcorn chicken buckets for their inconvenience.
Needless to say, the fast food was tasty. Well, that's my trip to the fast food restaurant named Kentucky Fried...
Read moreRubbish experience today, food itself was good but staff were completely unprofessional and just rude. Had to wait forever for order as management stood by while the rest ran themselves ragged, finally got food but sides were wrong so took them back just expecting a quick swap for the right ones but staff immediately blamed me for the mix up saying I'd taken another customer's food! In there words "you just walked off with it" i hadn't in fact, i picked up the bag admittedly confused as we'd ordered to sit in but our drinks were next to it and she'd called my order number, and while there i asked for sauce so she saw me with the bag before i walked off with it so blaming me was totally unnecessary. Then staff began loudly complaining about us taking the wrong order, even though we were sat within earshot, and had to sit there hoping my other half didn't hear them as he suffers from massive anxiety issues which he has been struggling with for some time now. Not to mention that we're going on holiday tomorrow so this has really put a damper on things. And all this grief because i was given the wrong order. Not usually one to rant on these things but hopefully this will give them the kick to return to better...
