Facilities-wise, the updated gym and sauna is fantastic, making it a good place to workout. I’ve been using the student discount for the holidays which has been super useful and the £1 lockers and showers are great if I need to go directly to work afterwards. Ultimately will never be as well-equipped as Puregym however, and can get pretty busy inside due to the size of the gym. Better for me as it is on the closer side of Salisbury and there are bike routes all around it. Have heard lots about the workers here not being good and would like to clarify that on the whole they’ve been great, but all it takes is a bad interaction to ruin a visit. If you find yourself being told you can’t do or buy something or other either speak to someone else or come back on a different day. Additionally, they use a very dated online/offline system for bookings and payments so that’s something else to be aware of.

The Leisure centre changing rooms and shower area could really do with some long overdue TLC. Little flys come out of the floor drains, and both hair dryers were out of order. Swimming pool tiles have many chips and cracks. Rusty and moldy air vents really look disgusting. Even though there is a sign asking you to shower before going into the pool none of the Aqua Aerobics group do... Really not worth the money to swim in such a run down Leisure Centre.

The pool was clean, the staff were confident and helped us understand the COVID restrictions and what we had to do. I hope people stick to the rules so we can keep the place open for longer...Great facilities inside, wide pool at 25m in length for the main pool and areas for the kids as well. A gym and cafe as well...I would advice you to wear your swimming costume under your clothes as you can only go into the changing rooms once you have finished.

Sunday morning swim with the kids. Online on “days out with the kids” it says there is a cafe with food and they don’t allow packed lunch. Stupidly assumed that a swimming pool with a children’s beach pool would sell children’s food if they can’t bring food. They only sold paninis, large poke bowls and cake. Not really food for a 2 or 5 year old. The 5 year old might have managed a panini, but the poke bowls were massive. And the two year old doesn’t have the jaw strength for a panini.

The pool was busy, but we had good fun. Bit of a pain at the start. We had to queue to the front desk, which took a while; wait for them to count and decide if there was space, then after 10 mins of that, told to rejoin the queue that had formed whilst we waited, to then book in and swim. You can not pre-book. This wouldn’t have been too bad except there were 3 members of staff and only one on reception. The member of staff who informed us to rejoin the queue, went back to reception but wasn’t checking anyone in.

The changing rooms are dated. Showers on the wall don’t work. Well, they dribble… I liked that the family changing rooms had seats to strap a baby in, pity the one we were in had broken straps. My 2 year old isn’t walking and so this would have been really useful.

They also charge 20p for a locker. Most places do a £1 deposit. This just feels like being robbed- since I’ve never known leisure centres to charge for lockers- and it’s so inconvenient. It’s bad enough when I lose my trolley pound, but to constantly have to source new 20p pieces in what is practically a cashless society is a pain...

Would not recommend this leisure centre went yesterday me and my partner told the person at the desk I’m Pregnant with twins can’t go in Coldwater as it would send my body into shock she said yeah yeah that’s fine give us a Wristband Got into swimming pool It was cold found out there was a warm swimming pool got told we couldn’t go in there. Explain the situation to the life of God still got told. No, I’ve got so cold To the point where we went for the showers, they were disgusting. Those mould on the shower And green moss Shortly after that started to get headache, my nose started to go stuffy couldn’t keep food down Called Dr Frend to explain it can only be because I’ve been in contact with Green moss and mould And the fact there was kids and adults coughing and sneezing in the pool and the doctor says with the cold water That I had to swim After being told that I could go into the warm water area He said it sent my body into shock and made it weak To the point where these people that was coughing and sneezing passed on their cold to me I only thank God that my twins are alright But I would not recommend this leisure centre as hygiene is not good floor is filthy You tell Them that you’re pregnant And you can’t go in cold water as you’ve been told not to go in cold water so you can Go into the warm water you literally can’t as you get...

Children's pool is warm and good. The main pool is like the North Sea. The reason for the bad review is the professionalism of the very young staff that work here. I was sold a set of flippers for my 6 year old and at the reception for £32 and at no point was I told that these were not allowed, barring in mind that I was purchasing tickets for the child pool not main. In the children's pool for 10 minutes before a young member of staff told me she could not wear them but could not provide me with a valid reason. In the end, I was told, "She may kick someone in the head" ( granted if she was on her own, but i was behind her the entire time). Then the manager approached me and asked me if I was OK as there had been a disagreement. At this point, there was 1 member of staff at the pools edge within seconds. There were 6 looking on like an episode of a comedy show laughing and clearly talking about the situation. Funny how when the disagreement between me and the manager finished, they disappeared back to where they came from. Also, a whiteness to one of the members of staff talk to a 4 year old like they were talking to an inmate at Winchester prison. Absolutely disgusting behaviour, and I will not be revisiting, unfortunately. FYI, this is just my experience. I did whiteness more than 1 person fall out with the very young...
