The atmosphere of the Grillado restaurant is extremely pleasant, friendly and relaxing. The interior is decorated with taste and style, with a variety of modern and traditional elements that create a warm and welcoming ambience. The background music was well chosen and not too loud, allowing us to enjoy our conversation.

The food was simply delicious! We tried several dishes from the menu and all were prepared with great care and attention to detail. The ingredients were fresh and of good quality and the food preparation was perfect. The dishes that caught my eye were the beef burgers, which were juicy and well done, and the lamb roast, which was tender and tasted great. I was also impressed by the generous portion of fries that came with the burgers and the fresh, crunchy salad that accompanied the steak.

The staff were extremely attentive and kind, giving us helpful advice and suggestions regarding the menu. They were very prompt and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and satisfied. Additionally, I was impressed that our food was served fairly quickly without sacrificing quality.

The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the excellent service. The menu also has a wide variety of options to suit all budgets.

Have eaten here before and know the pasta is superb, On 20 October 2020 I went for a special wedding anniversary meal with my wife. We both wanted a good meal and were prepared to pay for it so we ordered the filet steak for our main course. There is no pasta on the menu as a starter but knowing how good it is we asked if we could have a main course served between us as a starter. The waiter agreed and we sipped our wine as we waited. A short while later a full-size dinner plate of pasta was unceremoniously plonked on our table along with another full-sized dinner plate and two spoon. I was so taken aback that the waiter was gone before I could say anything. This was a poor start to what for us was a special meal. Was the chef making a point that he doesn't do pasta as a starter? He could easily have served the dish on two plates! I thought the customer came first and such a simple request would be served in a nice manner. Very disappointing. The pasta nevertheless was delicious. Our steaks arrived and were large and well cooked, though not quite as tender as I would have expected, but we did enjoy them. The same can't be said for the vegetables which were barely lukewarm. We left without ordering dessert as we were both disappointed with a meal that cost over £90.00. If you visit, choose Italian from the menu, particularly the pasta, as it is what they are good at and don't ask for pasta as a starter! We will be back, but only for pasta and never again for a special...

This was a " it's closest to the hotel","take a chance" no reservation, walk in, strangers in the city. My god what a find ! ! A very warm smiley welcome. Didn't miss a beat when we announced we didn't have a reservation, no sucking over the teeth just "no problem, you're very welcome, follow me I will find you both a nice table". Busy for a wet Wednesday in December & then we discovered why. Food was, without a word of a lie, "out of this world: delicious ! My partner is Sicilian & is very particular about her Italian food & the look of joy & bliss on her was a wonder to behold. I had pork chops, four on the plate complete with roasted vegetables so no hidden extras, Silvana had crab ravioli as a main course & when the reaction is " you have got to try this !" you know they have got it spot on. A trio of crostini to start & one of the most lightest, fragrant olive oils I have ever tasted. Accompanied by a boisterous Italian Red that set everything off perfectly. We could have been Italy it all felt so genuine. When, even now, four days after the meal I still remember every detail. How many restaurants have you ever been to when you can say that. Pure deligh & @ £91 for the two of us including wine with food of this quality an absolute steal ! Thank-you Grillado for, by pure chance, making our visit to Salisbury a truly memorable one.
