Cons: food: the scallops and the "catch of the day" (turned out to be fish&chips) were a disappointment. Breakfasts were OK though. Restaurant/kitchen cleanliness: we had multiple hairs in our food, the cups for tea were outright dirty Restaurant wait times: unless you have superhuman patience, go for a walk after ordering Noise insulation: you can hear everything and everyone around you (it's quite an old building), though the clientele was good enough for this to not have been a huge deal Bathrooms: separate taps for cold and hot water (absolutely barbaric!) and a toilet seat that doesn't stay up (-1 star for that, it's inconceivable how such a basic thing can...

Access to the beach itself is very steep on a set of winding steps in the cliff side followed by a short ramble over the fallen boulders at the bottom of the steps. Your hard work will be well rewarded with crystal clear water in a very secluded beach which is well exposed at low tide, however at high tide the beach is fully covered.
