Great place to play volleyball. Convenient that there is a cafe there too. Coffee is okay. Food is basic and very limited vegan friendly options. Though they do good smoothies which are very refreshing after a match. I thought they were changing to biodegradable veg ware but when I went a couple of weeks back they still seemed to be serving drinks in plastic cups.. maybe just using up what they had. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. The founding staff are very friendly but there are a lot of new younger staff members (particularly in the cafe) who tend to just do what is required but not engage quite like Spencer, Ellie and Damo do. I guess it’s a growing business and more staff are needed but they don’t always know/remember the regulars. Still, a good place to go. Good function room. Nice to be on the beach. A safe play area/sandpit for kids. Parking is difficult, particularly on a sunny weekend. But I like the space.
