I had the best time, spending two days with Marco and Riccardo and learning so much about pizza making in a great setting, minutes away from Central London. The first day was focused on the science behind pizza with some practical parts, mainly making different types of dough and rolling them properly, ready for the fridge ahead of day 2. The second day was all about pizza making, learning how to stretch the dough, baking the pizza, coping with the intensity of a pizza kitchen, and growing my confidence throughout the day. I was a total beginner with no experience in making pizza and no experience working in a restaurant. I decided to take this course as I had time between jobs, and I am so glad I did! It was also an excellent way for me to experience the daily life of a pizza chef! I left feeling content, more knowledgeable, and equipped to make my next trip to a pizzeria much more enjoyable!
