Negligence & poor service. They don't respond to complaints, good luck if you have an accident; no staff are trained; they don't know where the fire exits are - as told to the ambulance crew - they refused to call an ambulance (had to do that ourselves) - they failed to ask if I was with children or even to assist supervision of my children when it was myself who was severely injured. 4+ months on & still lack of movement on my knee from my injury sustained. Formal complaint which was ignored, copied below. Hello, I am writing to you as a formal complaint against Ascent Trampoline Park following a serious accident that I had on Monday 26th June. During the time of my accident the trampoline section was not well enough marshalled by staff members meaning my friend had to go and find a member of staff to make aware that there had been an accident and requested they call an ambulance as suspected I had broken my leg. A young girl, Tia, sat with me and asked what I had done, how it had happened and later wrote up the accident report – I do commend Tia, she was lovely and in no way is this complaint regarding Tia Nottingham. My complaint lies within what I feel negligence behaviour from Ascent towards an ongoing accident. The manager who came over, when asked if he had called an ambulance stated ‘No, we don’t call ambulances for any accidents, never have done, they take too long to arrive’ – and talking about when I feel ready to move me off the area and be taken to A&E via car. He also accusingly asked me, while shaking his head, what had I done & how had it happened. After finding no ambulance was going to be called by Ascent, my friend called the ambulance to which 999 even said on the phone it was the right thing to do and confirmed I was not to be moved. At no point did anyone ask if I was attending the jump session with children, I had a 9 and 2 year old with me who were left unattended and unsupervised whilst their mother was laid in pain and shock. Tia had asked another member of staff a young lad to fetch some ice packs for my injury, they were not ice packs, not frozen at all and barely even cold water filled ‘first aid’ sachets. This was the full extent of ‘first aid’ that was provided. When the ambulance crew arrived, they even commented they felt staff were clueless as they asked if there was a back entrance to take me out of, as it may be easier rather than down the stairs and through, the staff member they asked said they didn’t know. I feel there was a huge lack of negligent care and lack of first aid provided from Ascent Trampoline Park, prior to even beginning the jump session, the staff member who signed us in, signed our wristbands before even beginning the safety video and was not present at the end where they specifically ask if any questions to raise your hand. At no point did I feel Ascent had any empathy for my injury I sustained that day or further as no follow up to check in. Following my accident when getting to hospital I was kept in for 7 days with a very severe fracture to my tibia and a long road to recovery many appointments coming up and currently a minimum of 7 weeks signed off work for. I am hugely disappointed in Ascent for their lack of duty of care for a mother to go through this and be laid worrying over my children whilst awaiting an ambulance that Ascent were not interested in the slightest to call; if it had been a child, would the care be as lacking as it was...

Read moreBeen today. The place in terms of something for the kids to do is great value for money. However the food is absolutely extortionate and appalling quality. My son receives the thinnest hotdog I've ever seen in the largest bread roll it was 99% bread to sausage with a few measley chips. Even the ketchup is that cheap stuff that's see through. The bacon barm I got was £4 for the flabbiest bits of barely cooked bacon. My daughter got a burger and it looked like the cheapest burgers you can find at Herons, the type that shrink up to the size of a 50 pence piece and are probably made of horse. Look I don't expect gormet food we didn't go for the food obviously but the price we paid I expect a much better quality or a massive reduction in the price. You cannot charge that level and throw out what you do. Also £4 to refill the kids slushy cups? Are you having a laugh! With the price of the food plus drinks I've spent £45 today (not including price to trampoline) I could have got a very reasonable pub lunch for...
