Party of 7 attended the lost tomb escape room on Friday 28 July. We did this as a family and are not regulars of escape rooms. We arrived on time and had a very detailed briefing by a member of the crew. Then started our quest. We had great time getting into the game and completing the 4 different areas. All the rooms were well dressed and the puzzles challenging, everyone in the party enjoyed the experience. Would have loved to have bought a T-shirt or something but no merchandise available. Great value for money £140 for 7 (£20 pp) and in a beautiful part of the countryside. 10/10

We’ve been to a number of escape rooms & Extremescape ranks right up there with the very best - superb theming, a very authentic feel & an in-depth challenge make for a truly immersive & enjoyable experience. We took on The Lost Tomb and escaped with just minutes to spare. Suffice to say this place is very highly recommended to all & many thanks to the team at Extremescape for creating & hosting a wonderful escape room experience 😊

This was an excellent escape room, we came to play the other day and tried three of their rooms. All of them were excellent, my personal favourite being the Viking room which featured some really excellent puzzles and some mechanics that I'd never seen before. Extreamescape was extremely great! Myself and my partner are self proclaimed ‘seasoned escapers’ and the is one of, if not the best escape rooms we have ever been to.

The hosts are down to earth, helpful and passionate. The location is beautiful and purpose built. We completed the Viking room and the quality of the production (such as set, sound, story) can only be compared to a theme park attraction! It was a really showstopper!

We don’t know how we can do other escape rooms now because we will always be comparing them to extreamescape!

Because it’s in the Peak District we decided to visit Castleton in the morning and make a day of it which I would recommend! Be back soon for the...

I cannot recommend Extremescape enough!

We came to celebrate a birthday and what a day of fun we had. We were looked after so very well by our two hosts and their rooms are just AMAZING.

Super immersive, creative and just the right level of challenge. We played the Pirate game, the Viking game and the Christmas game. They were ALL superb, all three had a variety of puzzles and the puzzles were really satisfying to solve. There were humourous elements to the games too which added even more to the overall experience, and some proper WOW factors I've never seen in escape rooms before.

A must-visit for escape room fans - we will definitely be coming again. Thank you so much...

Well thanks to the pandemic we had to wait two years to finally visit here ( our fault, not theirs), but it was so worth the wait. We have donecescape rooms all over the country and abroad, but this was by far the best we have done.

The Lost Tomb really captured the Indiana Jones feel and is definitely very family friendly. Good puzzling and great design.

We also did Viking on the same day and this blew us away.

Thanks again for making a long overdue birthday treat so worthwhile. We loved it and wec will be back next time we are in the area, although for serious escape roomers make this a destination escape room, you won't be...
