Disley Village Bakery — Restaurant in England

The Village Bakery is an absolute gem that's not to be missed if you're in the area. From the moment you walk in, the friendly staff make you feel welcome. The smell of freshly baked goods fills the air, enticing you to indulge in a sweet or savoury treat. During my visit, I had the pleasure of trying their meat pie and custard slice, and both were outstanding. The meat pie was everything I had hoped for - a crispy, flaky crust with a savoury and well-seasoned filling that satisfied my cravings for a proper northern-style pie. The custard slice was also delicious, with a perfectly balanced custard that wasn't too sweet or too heavy. What really stood out to me was the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in the baking process. It's clear that The Village Bakery takes pride in its craft and puts a lot of care into its products. The cosy and welcoming atmosphere of the bakery, along with the excellent food, made my trip back home all the more enjoyable. Oh my from my experience with Disley Bakery I have the greatest respect and praise for Mike ,his wife and their staff. I contacted DISLEY BAKERY to see if they could deliver due to my husband and myself being in self isolation.

The lady who answered the phone Lesley who I spoke to was absolutely wonderful, nothing was too much trouble, she was so reassuring about I could ring any day and they would do their utmost to supply goods if they possibly could and deliver.

Mike the owner delivered the goods the same day in the afternoon, the quality of all my items was top notch fresh veg,fruit, bread,barm cakes, pies, milk.

I am so grateful and sincerely thank Disley Bakery for making this awful situation we all finds ourself in so much easier by their kindness and professionalism.

Disley bakery has become my go to for my lunch while I’m working there. The co op has a terribly small range of products and I find myself grabbing a sandwich or panini for my lunch and am never disappointed, the workers are always sweet and smiling and they very cheekily tempt you with a massive range of sweet snacks in full view for you to treat and indulge yourself.
