Gullivers Bookshop — Attraction in Great Britain

Gullivers is a special bookshop. Not only do they have a great range of books for all readers, they can order books in quickly - I ordered a book recently and picked it up the next day. The staff are incredible and are creative; the in-shop displays are always super and their window displays are the best that I have seen around. The display in the window changes regularly and is always full of life and colour making a walk around Wimborne more enjoyable. Gullivers support the local community as well; they are generous to local schools and jump at any opportunity in providing opportunities for the children. It engages with the community by putting on book hunts at various times of the year and is active on social media as well, sharing regular posts on different platforms. Gullivers Bookshop is quite simply the best! I live in Atlanta, Georgia and Gullivers in Wimborne is one of my favourite Indie bookshops! (Westbourne Bookshop is my other!) It’s so easy to place an order, they ship internationally and the books arrive very quickly. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable about all things books, and are happy to make recommendations!

They are a great stop for presents of all kinds, in addition to books, they have lovely cards, wrapping paper, puzzles etc. I’ve used Gullivers several times to send gifts to my family in England.

Having grow up in Wimborne I feel like Gullivers Bookshop has always been a magical part of my life. A wonderfully warm, family run business that is solely focused on the magic of books. Their range is extensive and their passion for encouraging reading at all ages is beyond anything the big brand book stores provide. I now live in Scotland but every time my wife and I come down we make sure to check in on the shop and enjoy the ever creative window displays.
