This is a fantastic park that truly encapsulates the vibrant spirit of Leicester. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, particularly noticing the abundance of playful squirrels darting about – a sure sign of a healthy ecosystem! It's clear this park is a hub for local activity, with many residents engaging in various fitness routines, which creates a really positive and motivating atmosphere. I even managed to complete my 5k training in its well-maintained surroundings, finding the paths perfect for a good run. The proximity of the Wesley Hall Community Centre is also a great bonus, suggesting the park is well-integrated into the local community and likely offers even more amenities or events. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a lively, green space...

This park is usually packed in summer with kids playing cricket and football alongside a local ice cream van parked at the gate!
The park is on a hill so great for walking and building up an appetite or even an after food digestion stint. It's just over a mile circuit along the footpath closest to the outer limits of the park with some quite steep gradients in places. So if you have a pushchair or kids on scooters or bikes, be very alert!
There also is a Restaurant in the centre of the park...
