This place is about 400 metre square hilly park with out door gym. There's a closed basketball and or other similar sports field. There's a sort of grass football/cricket field. There's a children's play area close to the outdoor gym so parents can do light exercise without losing sight of the children. Its a good park for running and light exercise especially the hilly bit provides a bit of a challenge. Plenty of street parking around the park but not inside. I have not heard of safety and security issues yet but I wouldn't go there late at night as in many other parks. Generally a good park, I have seen worse. There's a cafe but not toilets.

A welcome green space in the middle of the frankly ugly, boring urban jungle. Brilliant especially when the sun is out and trees and flowers in bloom. Great place to simply breathe, and/ or let the little brats run wild. There's a cafe/ restaurant as well, so could make for a decent Summer's day out. Just do the environment a favor and take your trash with you when you go. There are public bins around as well, so let's apply a little common sense and not ruin any more of the city...

Well maintained and well equipped park. Feel safe when here in the daytime. Used to come for a daily stroll with my newborn, had many different paths, of varying gradients so was good for getting the heart rate up. Good area for childrens play equipment, has the outside gym area too, an area where people tend to play cricket, there is a cafe there though I've never been inside, toilets are available (again never used them) and there are many ways to enter and exit the park.

This is a fantastic park that truly encapsulates the vibrant spirit of Leicester. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, particularly noticing the abundance of playful squirrels darting about – a sure sign of a healthy ecosystem! It's clear this park is a hub for local activity, with many residents engaging in various fitness routines, which creates a really positive and motivating atmosphere. I even managed to complete my 5k training in its well-maintained surroundings, finding the paths perfect for a good run. The proximity of the Wesley Hall Community Centre is also a great bonus, suggesting the park is well-integrated into the local community and likely offers even more amenities or events. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a lively, green space...

The playground at the bottom has been updated. My kids always choose this playground over others because of the variety of apparatus here, despite it not being the closest park to us. Theres gym equipment next to the park. There's basketball courts on the opposite side of the park, a lovely little stream running along the bottom of the park and toilet facilities just outside the park next to the police station. The toilet facilities could do with some improvement. The hand wash in the disabled toilet is more like water. Not sure it does a good job of killing germs. The whole toilet block could do with an update. The charity donation bins outside the toilet blocks have been over filled with bags of clothes and shoes all over the floor outside. Not a...

Great place to walk or take the kids. with lots of activities for the younger ones. The kids can enjoy the park swings and various other things whilst you jump onto a park bike or work your glutes on the fixed outdoor gym.

This park is usually packed in summer with kids playing cricket and football alongside a local ice cream van parked at the gate!

The park is on a hill so great for walking and building up an appetite or even an after food digestion stint. It's just over a mile circuit along the footpath closest to the outer limits of the park with some quite steep gradients in places. So if you have a pushchair or kids on scooters or bikes, be very alert!

There also is a Restaurant in the centre of the park...
