As universities go, Reading has a lovely campus that is quite nicely centralized. There are quite a few very well-regarded departments as well, such as Archaeology, Systems Engineering, Agriculture and Philosophy. Sadly, from the look of most of the building work here, the focus now seems to be on attracting students to easy, unfocused degree programmes with a view to raise a quick few pounds through the tuition fees.
