What a shame this place has gone downhill so badly. We used to come here often but have gone back yesterday and the prices of the food have doubled, the portioned halved and the quality is non existent. My friend ordered a sweet potato soup, got given a mushroom one as they had run out of the sweet potato (but didn't tell her at the time of ordering). It was so watery and disgusting it had to be sent back. It came with one tiny slice of bread. The cheese toasties were tiny and lacked in cheese. In the summer the staff was so unexperienced as all the students have gone home and only international students were working that the queues were horrendous. They didn't know what a lager shandy was and my daughter had to make a cocktail herself. They can't employ students from other Universities so all the summer students who are back home can't get a job there, even if they clearly were struggling to get staff, and the ones they had were useless. Such a shame as it is in a great location. Please sort out your food and staff!
