Excellent infrastructure but needs more brands and businesses to support it as many shops are closed or in poor state. Has a lot of different supermarkets but very few restaurants. Beautiful arrangements and enough parking space makes it ideal shopping destination. Also has water fountains on one end which has buses running just of the road opposite to the mall. Needs some advertising events to be carried out to give it more life. Overall I was pleased due to the hospitality of the staff working at the shopping centre. Parking was totally free throughout the day due to Easter but still didn't have much exciting events at the site which could have boosted the business, it was dull and gloomy. Has enough scope of improvement.

I was looking for some nice shops but certainly will not be visiting Central Stockton-on-Tees for shopping again. We were less than 20 minutes out of the car. Poor shop choice and facilities, although I was impressed with the size of the christmas tree, and the big wheel looked fun. There was also free face painting, and painted activities on the ground for children so may be fun for the little ones but not for adult shopping. The parking wasn't the best either.. all machines not working. The first hour was free though and luckily the bollard opened when I got to it.

Stumbled into the Stockton Riverside festival after going through for the market. The "brass band" started playing up and they were brilliant, we also managed to see a dance troup which were very good as well. I've been told there's a lot going on throughout the evening, if we lived a bit closer we would definitely be there. Highly recommend

I suppose it's ok. I guess I long for days passed. The Stockton high street of my youth was worlds away from what it is now. The main high street is a ghost town, most of the shops are gone and only charity stores remain, there is nothing wrong with charity shops, I love them but it's just a shame that there is nothing else around them. Most of the buildings have been or will be knocked down to allow for just empty space from the former high street to the river. I suppose it might look nice but that is not a high street or anything close to what it used to be. Wellington square is all that stands now in terms of what could be considered to be a high street of any description. They used to allow up to an hour of free parking but even that is gone now. I parked there for just 11 minutes today, and paid £1.50 for the privilege. I suppose it's indicative of the current climate. Everything is online, in years to come high streets will be a thing...

Its okay apart from feeling on edge when in the shops ... the security guards follow you and when you turn to look they try to make out their not following you which therefore makes the whole experience of shopping very uneasy ... also there is alot of drug addicts so your constantly looking over your shoulder ... the staff in some of the shops are really bitchy one time i was in new look looking for a pair of plims but couldnt find any i liked so walked out to go to shoe fair ... shortly after while i was looking in shoe fair a community officer collarred me infront of tthe full shop and checked my bags he told me that the staff had phoned up and told them that she saw me put something in my bag ... to her disappointment i hadnt and to further it i reported the incident to the manager of the store who wasnt working that day and she appologised since then i darent go back in incase it happens again so not the best of...
