So disappointed!! we were seated quickly in a nice area and I just want to preface this by saying the waiters were lovely this isn't a reflection on them or their customer service. The organisation between the kitchen and customers was just not there as our food came out over an hour late. I felt bad for our waiter who didn't know what was happening with the food either. When we got our food the pizzas were awful, the cheese was cheap and rubbery, the base was so bland and doughey. The pizzas had no flavour at all, I've had better for 99p from morrisons. Overall really disappointed. Edit: response to their reply we were complaining after an hour passed by because waiting over an hour is a long time for a meal. We ordered 20 minutes after we arrived because no one came to take our order untill them. We said they were okay because we didn't want to make the issue with organising and the kitchen the waiters fault. I don't know who you think is overreacting as I was one of the people who apologized? I don't think anyone overreacted so that's a bit of an overstatement theres no need to be rude? We said sorry to the waiter as we knew it wasn't their fault. There was no overreaction we were understanding of the situation we didn't overreact to any of the staff the only thing we asked was to remove the service charge. If you think asking to remove an optional charge and enquiring about our food status after an hour is an overreaction then I don't know what to tell you. This is just honest feedback and sorry you can't take that on board. For those reading this I've attached the response to my original review which honestly just comes across rude. I'd avoid this place if they get upset over google reviews.

I literally had to demand a refund after they said they could only offer to cook me the dish again the following day - (1) not from the area (2) doesn't feed me that night and (3) as if I'd go back!! I was fairly calm but annoyed to begin with as I appreciate mistakes happen however after the managers poor customer service this ruined the complete experience hence 1 star (0 if I could). I was told by the manager that they can't guarantee nons of that ingredient if I had an intolerance or allergy therefore if you have an intolerance or allergy I would avoid this place like the plague!!!

My first visit and it was good. Initially disappointing as we'd booked, but on walking in there is no wait here to be served sign and also no one around. We eventually walked to the bar and there were plenty of staff there but they all ignored us. Eventually my wife managed to attract someone's attention. They took us to a table but didn't ask for the name of the booking. After a shaky start, we ordered chicken in a pepper sauce and a diavola parmo. Both were really nice, but I'd have preferred my parmo if the chilli had been fresh chilli or jalapeños rather than dried chilli powder. The fresh vegetables were nice and the food was good value. The only other thing we noticed was that the restaurant emptied quite early for a Saturday night. I'm not sure if they do cheaper meals earlier on, but it felt like visiting a restaurant mid-week that serves tea time specials and then not much afterwards. Nicely decorated, but slightly too dark (menu reading was a challenge). I'd be happy to go again for another meal.

My first visit and it was good. Initially disappointing as we'd booked, but on walking in there is no wait here to be served sign and also no one around. We eventually walked to the bar and there were plenty of staff there but they all ignored us. Eventually my wife managed to attract someone's attention. They took us to a table but didn't ask for the name of the booking. After a shaky start, we ordered chicken in a pepper sauce and a diavola parmo. Very disappointed with the service. The table had been booked for a number of weeks, when we arrived there was no table available and had to stand at the door for 10 minutes.

Staff took drinks order, again service was slow It took a while for drinks to arrive. Food order was taken with the arrival of the drinks. Starters came, I tried ordering more drinks only to find out they had run out of their draught premium larger, on a Saturday night... unacceptable!!!

After an hour of being seated the starter plates were still on the table, when I asked the waitress what was happening she didn't know and was very unhelpful. I had to persuade her to ask what was happening at the pass! She did not return with an answer.

At this point I asked the maître d' to find out what was happening.

He did not see what the problem was, it must be normal for his patrons to sit for an hour with an empty starter plate. He was very aggressive and basically asked us to leave after paying for drinks.

I asked for the food we ordered...I have to admit the food was nice, but frankly it was difficult to eat after experiencing such a poor attitude from the maître d'.

I am exacerbated by the quality of the service and attitudes of the waiting staff and more importantly the maître d'.

This is not the first time I have eaten here, previously the experience has been good to excellent. It would appear they have either over booked or taken a number of walk-ins waiting to...
