Nice place just outside of Guildford castle. It has many old age items to look into. Good place for history lovers. They have many old items like cycle, old stitching, old clothes, old bungalows in displays

Cute little museum with a lot of items from different periods to look at. Would spend more than 10-15 mins here. Got accessible toilet on the ground floor and kids area

It is a small museum. Friendly staff with good local knowledge guided me to find the castle nearby. The display there isn't much interested to some people.

The place was closed when I visited Guildford Castle. the main grounds were accessible and free to entre. Been again recently is free and stones throw from town centre.

Been there a few months later, is almost how I remembered it. Obviously there have been changes. Some of the exhibits are still the same.

Opening hours are as follows: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday open from 12 until 4:30pm, last admission 4pm. Closed...

I went to the museum to see the Gertrude Jeckyll exhibits. She was a fascinating woman, and influential gardener and a significant figure in the Arts and Crafts Movement. Walking down the hill from the museum takes you to the river. I especially enjoyed the medieval properties by the riverside, including houses on stilts for flood protection. The museum is free. I also enjoyed the prehistoric and...

Pair it with the castle tour and you have a great half day set of activities. Oh and the museum has what appears to be some fun kid activities (although we don't have kids the ones there were enjoying...
