GrillShack Havant — Restaurant in Havant

I have many pleasant experiences with grill shack and boasted to my friends about how good it was when they came over. We ordered our food and given a 30 min wait on a Sunday which was pretty good. Half an hour later (the time we were due to receive our food) we received a call saying they were all out of the food we wanted (lasagne) and given a last min choice to change our order. They said it would take another 30 mins to re-prepare our food - fair enough, we ordered at 8.30pm so our food would still be with us by 9.30pm but no, by 10.30pm we were still waiting on our food. Bare in mind it's a Sunday night and we all have work the next morning so I called the establishment to complain which the member of staff informed me the delivery driver had only just left with our order. Food finally arrived! But the turmoil didn't end there - the wraps that were specified "no salad and mayo" had salad and bbq sauce, the last minute order change to lemon chicken pieces when we had originally wanted lasagne didn't go down well and left us feeling very unsatisfied and still hungry, the garlic bread ordered to go with the lasagne also arrived cold. I also feel grill shack should review how they advertise their food as the salad included in the meal didn't state what it included (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, gerkins etc) for dietary and preference reasons. I'm feeling very embarrassed for speaking so highly of grill shack to my friends from this...

I would not recommend placing an order from Grill Shack to be delivered. We placed our ordered at 7pm, to be told it would be a 45 minute wait (we where more than happy to wait this time, expected on a Saturday night) once we had finally placed the order, after repeating it to the girl on the phone 4 times. We then had received two more phone calls from Grill Shack ... one saying that we needed to place an order, but we'd already placed one. And then the second asking if we had ordered 4 chicken burgers (or whatever it was) this was not our order. We told the lady again what we had ordered and at this time it was 750pm, she then said our ordered wouldn't be much longer. We continued to wait for our food, once it had got to 815 we phoned back to find out where our food was, to be told it would be another 15-20minutes, the food was ready but there was no driver. This would of now left us to have been waiting an hour and 20 minutes, we then also stated to them that they wanted us to wait a further 20 minutes whilst our food had already been cooked! Not once did we get an apology from either member of staff we had spoken to. This service is very disappointing as we have collected food from here before and it was very nice.

Unfortunately it has made us not want to return again after this...

Normally really good food but this time it took a turn. I have noticed a couple of times that my chicken orders have been slightly pink and fleshy. The other times I didn't want to be petty and just gave them the benefit of the doubt and left it.

But, this was the third time, the chicken burger and chicken strips were both pink, soggy and obviously undercooked and not fit for human consumption. Although I was refunded the resturant continued to phone me back (after 10pm) to tell me that they had seen the food and said I was wrong, and that if I order again I should ask for my chicken to be cooked "well done" even if that was a sarcastic comment you can obviously tell they dont take food safety seriously. I feel offended that they would argue with a customer and follow their bias opinions on their own food as to whether it was cooked properly!

Very angry. Uncooked chicken is a serious thing and I could have been ill an apology would have been nice.

Also its not hard to look through other reviews on JustEat, Google and see people having the same problem with undercooked food! This is not acceptable and possible dangerous.

Only good thing is the wedges, they're amazing! So just order wedges its the only thing worth your money that...
