*UNANNOUNCED BUILDING WORKS* Arrived at site to ask if we’d had a call in advance about the building work on site, which we’d not. The receptionist did a funny shriek face and said nothing major but there was some light work going off near our accommodation but assured us work wouldn’t start until 8.30am. Our accommodation was 10 foot from a building site, apparently work started at 8.30am yet we were woke by noise and banging at 7.30am each morning from the builders. We booked an accommodation with a hot tub (only around 4 or 5 at this site so if you’ve booked one, I’m sure you’ll be on top of the building works on the Nut Hatch area). Complained at site to be told that no manager on site and to try again the following day. After finally speaking to the manager she said they had been instructed not to offer any refunds under any circumstances which suggests Away Resorts knew and were anticipating complaints yet still continued to take bookings for these accommodation despite being affected by building works. We were advised to complain to head office but that the outcome would be the same, we have and it has been, so rather than having an argument over email with a company that have very little ethics, I’ll do a chargeback through the bank due to services not being as described. Disgusting service and we will NEVER book with these scumbags again. They knew full well building works were happening yet still took bookings and told us we ā€œshouldā€ have had a call to advise that we didn’t

3rd time in a row coming her with the partner & kids, kids love it, caravans are nice pending which sort you get & were you are located, nice park for ages 1-5yr olds and a bit of a bigger park, tennis & football court for the older 1s, reception staff are ok, also the little shop as moved into the reception area, the order little shop as now turned in to a little arcade, got out door heated swimming pool with lifeguards monitoring all the time, kids activities on site (you will need to book these & pay for them at the reception) there is a out door fresh pizza oven, a bar/restaurant with in/out door seating area, there is another bar called the show bar what is open on an evening time doing alsort of entertainment for kids, cash bingo for the adults, and some games or adults & kids or music singers or karaoke till late.

We had a fantastic time here at Cleethorpes! We stayed for two nights in a caravan with a hot tub! The caravan was immaculate with plenty of space inside and a large decking area outside with the private hot tub on the deck, sadly the hot tub did discolour our costumes so beware (this may have been a one off, I'm not sure). We were kindly greeted with a goodie bag with essentials and even a bottle of prosecco in the fridge in our van šŸ˜‰! The entertainment staff in the evening were fantastic and the acts they had were brilliant (live wrestling one night and a well known ventriloquist the other). Despite the cold, wet weather we did have a swim in the outdoor pool and it was nice, clean and warm. We would definitely go back to this site, hopefully in the summer when the weather is better and we can enjoy the place more.

This is a review of the Entertainment Centre and not any of the other facilities within the Park.

It was my first visit here for many a year to attend a Charity function and in all truth, I was quite looking forward to it. However, that quickly changed when entering the centre!

It was colder inside the venue, than outside, which we all immediately noticed but not a problem, we headed to the bar to order some drinks. The first drink we ordered ( a popular choice for many), was out of stock, the second one we ordered, again out of stock, Eventually, our third choice was in stock, so we collected our drinks and headed towards a radiator to warm up. Wrong move, all the radiators in the venue were switched off!

So we moved on to our table and were surprised to find there were 10 chairs around a table that would fit a maximum of 8 people but nevertheless, we seated ourselves.

Table service was included in our ticket price but in 4 hours of trying to order a drink, we were served once! A trip to the loo was required (poor signage) but I eventually found it due to the long queue of people waiting to spend a penny - there are definitely insufficient loo's in the premises!

I could go on but in all seriousness for a venue of that size, you seriously need to address some very basic issues. The venue and its facilities let the evening down and I, as well as the nine other guests on our table will certainly not be using the...

Having stayed in Haven and Parkdean parks all over the UK over the years, I was hoping for a similar experience here. I booked a luxury van for 3 adults and 2 children. I would honestly say this was a basic van.....not luxury. The luxury part must have been the tiny decking and towels. The small toilet constantly smelt of urine. The spare duvet had blood stains on it. The pull out bed was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever tried to sleep on. You can feel every bar underneath. The vans are all crammed together, not much room for parking, so cars all over the road. And advising us to leave the car well away in a car parking space at entrance when we have two toddlers is unacceptable. We squeezed both cars down the side of the van anyway, and hoped no-one blocked us in. There was a very noisy family opposite with music blaring, shouting and generally making people feel uneasy. The food in the on site restaurant was lovely, but it was like sitting in a working mans social club though. We found the pub across the road better with added bonus of a carvery. The arcade was never open...and is so small. Machines were broken. The pool area was beautiful..we didn't use it during our stay though. There was no lighting along the path around the park behind our van. We were glad it was only 3 nights...anymore and I would have insisted on being upgraded or having a refund...
