We went to the fun fair at the Meridian, two hour slot, just turned up and paid, £9 for rides, £2 spectator. Good points it wasn't crowded, no queues, great rides which our two boys aged 8 and 13 loved. The only negative was some of the rides weren't included in the price and of course our boys wanted to go on them. The food was expensive, slushies £4.50, hot dogs £3.50 etc, but we went to McDonald's after instead. Covid restrictions weren't really in place, we only saw one ride with hand sanitiser but we had taken some with us. I presume after our slot they cleaned everything before the next one. They were told by security chairs were not to be taken onto the grounds and to leave them with them to collect at the end. Height restrictions in place and the adult has to pay if a child has to be accompanied and they do not tell you that when they take your money. Most other fairs let the parent on with the child.They finish the session earlier than advertised. Save your money...
