Huntingdon Castle Hills — Attraction in Huntingdonshire

Quite interesting site. Not a lot to see now, but you can see how it would have worked as a castle and most years ago. Using the river to surround your castle and village. There is an information point with pictures of how it once looked and views of the layout. OK, the castle is missing, but that's ok. This is Castle Hill, and it is easy to imagine a castle here by the river. Fun for kids and dogs to run up and down the tela tubby hills. I never realised how big this space is when I used to drive through the town. Huntingdon is, for me, one of those towns that makes most sense when walked.
