I am running out of options!!
(Some background information: I was a Nursing student last year at this university. I had to drop out due to missing a lot of days because of health reasons. I am now at another university studying the same course).
Since 9th October I have been trying to get hold of Faith Hicks so she can send information about my withdrawal to NHS LSF (nursing grant).
I have contacted Admissions and Student Life, as well as being being given an email to contact Heidi Cromwell, who has been somewhat helpful. I understand neither of those have the ability to help me with my request as they do not have access to the relevant information.
On the 13th October I was told by Academic Administrators and Student Life this "will be actioned next week". Heidi also mentioned it will be dealt with "next week" but Faith is busy with graduations (understandable). Heidi also contacted Faith on Monday 9th October about my email, so Faith has been informed about this from the very beginning.
Since 9th October, it is now 8th November, I have not heard anything from Faith. On the 25th October I emailed Heidi again, she told me she will "give her a nudge" and she also gave me Faiths email.
I personally emailed Faith today and on the 2nd November.
Yesterday I also called the university but I was told they could only follow up with my request with Faith.
Today I even called Faiths number, I found it on the universities website, but it went to voicemail. I left a short message regarding my call.
Faith Hicks has been contacted at least six times (from what I am aware of), by myself, Heidi Cromwell and who ever I spoke to on the phone yesterday.
I think it is very unprofessional that she is ignoring me like this. I would not be contacting her unless I needed to. The Learning Support Fund requires a direct email from University of Suffolk, this is all out of my control.
I will not get my grant if this is not sorted out and as of now I cannot afford to go to university because as a nursing student I rely heavily on my student loan...
Read moreThey have ate my money. I thought they had online classes or some tutorial videos nothing for courses but nothing as such they only provided some course books and told tutors will help you if needed only if they wish ( only if they wish????) I mean why the hell did I pay them £800 for??. I have texted the tutors for help to check if they response but they haven't. Thier course books is so worst. And I realised this not even 2 days I have studied I have asked them to refund me but the student advisor told that you haven't read out agreement its not refundable mentioned they are very tricky people to fraud and take money from poor students. I asked them to refund me at least 1/3 rd of it they didn't and refused it . One of the worst University ever. Plz don't get enrolled into this humble request save your money. Specially if you are online student. I have lost all my money here. Worst decision ever made ever to take admission here and lost...
Read moreSo this is something I have wanted to do for some time. I've spent 2 years at this university and rather simply I regret it. The tuition fees for the service you receive is laughable. Students that go to this particular university are simply wasting there time. I suffered racist abuse, bullying and unfair treatment from staff. My course had 9 students on it. No wonder why it has such bad reviews compared to other universities. Find a university that is actually suitable as the university of Suffolk...
