Hi This park may look good and appear to be child friendly but it is not .It may have one disabled swing which non disabled children use and parents let them whilst disabled children have to stand and wait ,and also a wheelchair swim but the actual climbing frame structure access to slides and high robes is Definately not designed for children with a disability. I am a cater of a child with down syndrome who could enjoy all of these structures but because of their access climb unto them he could not pull himself up to avail of the pleasure of using the big slides. The robe bridges are great for non disability children but yet again not disability friendly. .These wooden structure wall like steps are not good and are too steep and only enjoyable for those who are 100 per cent able bodied .It’s sad that I’m 2022 designers are still getting this wrong and claiming that those with a disability have been included in these designs. .There are not enough structures for child with this disability who want to use these facilities but once ready to approach them Realise they cannot physically simply because of the poor access u to them. Hopefully when so much money is being spent in the future those involved will get parents with child with all abilities involved and LISTEN to what they are actually...
