I meet a friend for a socially distance walk every few weeks. On a warm day it is beautiful to see the birds, all sorts, on the water & the surrounding trees make it a lovely walk. There is a small enclosed garden at start of walk that looks lovely as well. Everyone walks a one way system since covid (another walker had to point the system out to me I dont know if there are signs). Feels very safe. Noticed recently there is a takeaway coffee stop in carpark, looks good, we had bought ours at mcdonalds drive through en route. The only drawback it is busy & sometimes hard to get a car park. Shows...

This place, better known as " the duck pond ", is situated close to Newtownards town center. It is popular with dog walkers and families. A walk around the pond takes about 20 mins at a leisurely pace and is a haven for ducks, geese, and swans, to name but a few. A bag of bird seed is handy to carry with you as there are quite a few hungry mouths you won't want to disappoint. Wheelchair accessible and a public toilet. There are no food...

Beautiful place with much wildlife was a nice walk round the fact it has a public toilet facility is handy too. Will definitely be back again. I saw quite a few different species of birds along the walk aswell as the swans and their baby cygnets it was beautiful to see also there was a duck with ducklings. My wee boy enjoyed it climbing a few trees and going around the walk on his scooter. It is a lovely serene place cant wait to...

Nice walk round for a date. Took some seed to feed the ducks/swans, but disappointed to see people had been filling them up with bread. I'd like to see more information for people not to do this as it has no nutritional value for them. It ruined my experience in feeding them as they weren't interested. Fortunately, I had decent company to keep me entertained instead.

Great we nature trail for a small walk. Has a public toilet in the carpark, and enough parking for around 20 cars. This was our first time here and enjoyed this short walk. You can see ducks and swans there are signs saying please do not feed. The path is very good for wheelchairs and prams. We only seen one picnic table. Would call here again if I was in the area.
