This place is on another level! Everything about it from walking in the door to leaving is 1st class. Staff are so welcoming and friendly, but still professional. A hard one to pull off. Great advice on food and what goes with what. Lovely atmosphere, happy, funny and very relaxed. Staff work their socks off but still very professional and interact with their customers. But the food, BOOM πŸ’₯. No words. An explosion of taste on the tongue. Also, their deserts are home made and the chocolate fudge cake is in a world if it's own xx. Can't speak highly enough of this amazing little quirky restaurant. 5 star 🌟 🀩

Never had food like it. Absolutely incredible. How have I lived in Newtownards my entire life (23 years) but never been here before? The chilli crackers were outstanding, the garlic and chilli chicken was mouth-wateringly (not bc of the spice) good and curry puffs for starters had just the right amount of filling. Disabled friendly and the employees were very accommodating and friendly. The price point is slightly high but the standard of food that comes out of the kitchen makes it worth it. Would highly recommend.

My wife and I had lunch here yesterday. Service was, initially at least, friendly and efficient - the sole visible staff member subsequently appeared to get involved in an interminably-long phone call, snd while his voice continued to resonate, he himself was invisible! The food was all right - had better, had worse! Helpings seem to be pretty generous. I thought the bill very extortionate for lunch for two. TukTuk was okay, but we agreed that neither of us would be in any great hurry to return.

We had a meal with a voucher given to me as a Birthday present. We have been in the past and always have been very happy with the food. We have fried chicken dumplings to share and some Thai crackers to start. The Malaysian Satay beef which was just the right amount of heat and we loved the crunchy bits of peanut on it. The Vietnamese glazed chicken is a favourite of ours and dare I say it - I think it's nicer than we remember it being. You also can't miss the coconut rice!! We also had coconut ice cream which was really tasty and I tried Vietnamese coffee which was strong but sweet at the same time!

Our server was very friendly and attentive. The balance of being close by but not hovering was just right.

If you haven't been to Tuk Tuk, you seriously don't know what you...

The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and very knowledgeable about the ingredients in our food. I had a Pad Thai Prawn Noodle dish, and it came out looking so beautifully presented, I didn't want to destroy the upturned Egg Shaped Hat it was presented in. It was fantastically presented, I have had many a Pad Thai Noodles in Australia and in Asia, but never one that was so artistically presented and the flavours were to die for. This is only our second time there, and as our very good friends are regulars at the Newtownards restaurant, we will certainly be going more often. We have also to try Tuk Tuk in Greyabbey, as we have heard very good reports about it as well from our other good friends. Excellent night, terrific food, friendly staff. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Plus...

I've ordered food from here several times while staying nearby. It has always been delicious. On one occasion I had to just drive over and order as I couldn't get through on the phone, but it was a Saturday night and they were very busy. They do have a service where you can put your order in days in advance, so that would be handy if you knew you were going to be ordering from them. The staff are always very helpful, warm, welcoming and chatty, even when under pressure during their busiest times. The food is always cooked quickly, served piping hot and absolutely delicious. I usually order a curry with coconut rice and I add tofu, to get some extra protein in, being vegetarian. They've got an extensive menu with plenty of vegetarian options. A lovely place, well...
