Wow this place has really went down hill! Would give it a zero if I could... one star is pushing it. Called in last Thursday to grab 'fast food'. Parked the car and decided to walk in as the drive through line was out onto the road and didn't look like it was moving. Stood in the queue for easy 15 mins before being served (1 person in front of me) made my order and went to pay with my bank card, but couldn't as the card machines were down. They called the female duty manager who implied there was something wrong with my card as their machines were fine even though my server said she had never seen the error message before. The duty manager said it was my fault in front of a line of approx 10 angry people waiting behind me...I had no cash so had to leave. Funny enough I used this same card about three minutes after this with no issues in McDonald's. Fair enough technology can break but for a 'manager' not to offer an apology but tell you its your problem really isn't good enough. That a side we decided to go back again tonight, I ordered a wicked zinger box meal to go... Got it home... its a chicken fillet box meal and there's no gravy in the tub... The gravy had exploded all over my burger as the box meal was squeezed side ways into a tiny paper bag. Not only do I have the wrong burger it is also soggy with cold gravy. Litterally the worst kfc I have EVER had. Don't know how this place has got so bad, new owners perhaps? KFC need to step in as this is only damaging their name and reputation, definitely not KFC's brand standard. I will be avoiding KFC newtownards...
Read moreI can’t thank the young staff enough for their amazing and warm welcome. I went for lunch today around 2:30 PM. As I approached the door, one of the staff members was already there, waiting to open it for me, knowing I am a disabled person with limited mobility. This was very much appreciated — and it only got better from there. From that moment on, they offered me several seating options and even asked if I’d like any chairs removed to give me more space, which was incredibly thoughtful and helpful, as I do need extra room for my electric chair. They then asked if I’d like anything from the menu and offered to help with ordering. Due to my limited manual dexterity, I struggle to access my wallet. One kind staff member kindly offered to help. I handed a young girl some money — she paid for my lunch, brought back my change, and even helped me put it back into my wallet. The meal was fresh and warm. Throughout my visit, they kept checking in every five or ten minutes to see if I needed anything — more drinks, more napkins, or even if I’d like some chips. I would highly recommend this Kentucky Fried Chicken as one of the best I’ve visited in Northern Ireland — and I’ve visited quite a few! I truly hope management reads this review because these young people genuinely deserve a big thank you. I’ll be back soon. Kind...
Read moreUsed the drive thru yesterday and experience was not good. Guy on the headset was so difficult to understand, started giving him my order and he told me the price. I said, no, we are still ordering and he said 'drive to the next window' I repeated that we had more items to order but he said that it was too late and to come over to the window. When I drove round he took the next order behind me then he came to the window and asked what it was I wanted to change about my order. I told him I was in the middle of ordering and he cut me off. He sighed and very rudely demanded 'what do you want?' I ordered and he told me I would have to park out of the way. Parked in the car park, 5-6 cars all went through the drive-thru, then they brought out our food. We drove off only to find they hadn't given us fries so had to circle around and go back out. Went into the store and showed them the bag, of course, had no receipt. The guy just said 'oh right' and walked off, reappeared with fries, put them into the bag and disappeared again. I love a KFC burger but that customer service is appalling! Burgers were cold too due to all the hassle! Definitely would not...
