Lemon Street Gallery — Attraction in Kenosha

I love this place! The art shows are fantastic. They display some of the most beautiful art in kenosha. Over 15 years ago they taught me how to use a sewing machine in one of their classes and now my mom is a resident artist there! They always make a point to pursue, display and uplift artists of color and queer artists which is rare in the arts scene here. Lemon Street Gallery and ArtSpace is worth visiting often. New art from local and area member-artists is well displayed and changes over frequently. Second Saturdays have events and semi solo shows in the ' brick gallery' adding to the variety of art you can see. They host all kinds of classes and have a community clay studio in the basement thats inexpensive to use. This Gallery has stood the test of time ( 25 years) and most of all they are a friendly and welcoming place to see and make art....
