Okay, time to find some more family! And as you tour the paths around this church, you can see them, inscribed into the pavements! Wow, it was amazing to see family names underfoot. The paths themselves were very wheelchair accessible too, allowing my wife and her family take their time and examine the many stones.
We were taken aback a bit by the amount of trash scattered around. Perhaps being in the center of town attracts a lot of people or just people who don't clean up after themselves. But you can tell the church tries to keep things clean and usable by the public.

Read moreWe visited as tourists rather than churchgoers on Tuesday morning. We first visited the cafe which was bigger than expected. Two large scones and two pots of tea for £5.60. The church itself was delightful - but I wasn't keen on the NHS exhibition. There were two lovely ladies doing the meet and greet. One told us about the exhibition that we weren't aware of, gave us an information leaflet and left us to it - thank you, we'd never have known about it otherwise.
