I recently had the pleasure of dining at Royal King Grill , and I must say, it was an absolute culinary delight from start to finish. Nestled in Dwesbury , this restaurant offers not only a cozy ambiance but also an unforgettable dining experience. Staff are very friendly and will always make sure you are happy with everything you have ordered. I came with my family and we all wanted to try different things. Me and the Mrs went for the tawa for 2 and the kids wanted a stir fry and a chicken fillet mexicano burger. We also ordered some king prawns for starters. All the food came out fairly quickly and we didn't have to wait for long. It was all piping hot. All the starters were nice on the tawa but what I enjoyed more were the chicken and lamb karahi as they were spot on for a desi mains. You get just about enough roti and naan to finish the mains and there was plenty for 2 to share on the tawa. We also tried some sweet paan on the way out and that was lovely to try out. The decor inside was well presented with some nice seating. On a negative but no fault of the owners is the parking outside as I struggled to find a spot. Another issue was they accept cash only so please be aware of this before you turn up with a huge group and don't have cash as you will need to go to a nearby cash point to pay for your meal. I have knocked off a star for this as in this day and age people's preferred method of paying is by card so to the owners of Royal King Grill please take this on board as there will be many others who will feel the same as me. Been many times had pretty much most things on the menu, a tawa is always a good option due to variety, or go with single items. The traditional curries are spot on, starters are fresh always, rice, naan and roti is soft. Service is excellent even when busy. No issue on food delivered either. Got the worng curry once in 15 plus orders they got me the right one in 20 mins and popped in a couple of extra chapattis, salad and sauces. Price is reasonable, they have an enclosed seating area for anyone who wants more privacy and they dont serve alcohol, customers can bring their own if they want to. Atmosphere is lovely and the decor is on point to. Easily the best restaurant in dewsbury, batley or Huddersfield and gives most bradford places a boot.
