Come running here sometimes, but thought we'd come and relax here with a coffee for once. Its not a normal park with lots of flowers, we'll it isn't in March. But there are huge open spaces for football or other sports if you want. It is a student area, so you see lots of them running, having a bbq or just relaxing. There are families here too and there is a children's play area and skate park, might bring my skateboard next time lol There's lots of benches and bins, the park is really good for walking your dog, jogging, cycling or rollerblading as there are loads of tracks here. The woodland tracks might not be suitable for rollerblading tho 😉 The park is really clean, no dog poo, drug paraphernalia or other undesirable rubbish you find in parks in other areas, so might bring the kids one day. The woodland in between the park and the University campus is really cool and worth visiting, if you do visit the woodland, look out for the Arch, it is a little hidden though. Sometimes it can be a bit muddy near the edge when walking towards the woodland, but usually it's dry and okay. The location is quite good too, not too far from the centre and there is lots of free parking around the park. There are some really cool food and coffee places around the area too. Well worth visiting for a run or to relax

A great way to spend a day. Went with my son, brother and nephew for a day playing in the wood and at the park. The woods are a lot of fun for youngsters with lots of paths and sticks for collecting and making dens. The play are is very clean with plenty to keep a couple of young children entertained. Would go again

Nice park not the biggest in Leeds but has a small children's play area, two tennis courts, a skate park and some general exercise machines. Generally lots of dog walkers. Some times half of the park is taken up for parking for large events at the headingley stadium (park and walk).

Becketts park is nice, but boring, the child swings area always looks terrible, the council insist on having only 5 or 6 things on a very big area, much more could be done with it, and then cheap out on the padded flooring so it rips up over time and becomes another hazard, which they’ll fix on the cheap and in 5 years it’ll be torn up again…rule of thumb if there’s five working toys for the kids at the park two will be broken…. Skate park is ok, it’s ramp and concrete flooring so hard to get that wrong, Tennis court is being repaired, so who knows when that will open…. Becketts park is a small piece of land with a few trees, you want a walk it’s there, is it stunning ? No … are there better parks near by ? Yes go to mean wood… more Interesting , better facilities for kids and...

This park has a good space with a skate board park and a children's play area and a rather spartan exercise area with a few machines. It has some mature trees but not that many. It is pretty bereft of any wildlife albeit the woods you can walk through to it have a bit of bird life. The park lacks a cafe with good coffee and ideally some healthy snacks and if someone put some bird boxes up who knows nature may come back...
