We were passing along the main road nearby, so it seemed silly not to stop! Lovely view from the cliff top (the meridian mark is very near the edge). Some information on a board, plus the actual monument. The meridian is also marked in the ground, so one can easily do the obligatory photographs with one foot on each side! On a practical level, the road (The Promenade) is an unmade road and not in marvellous condition. Better either to park in one of the side roads leading to it, or user the car park just to the east, at the bottom of Steyning Avenue. Be warned that the various side roads are often blocked at one end so it can be a bit frustrating getting there; study the satellite view carefully.
