A visit on mid morning Monday - we came on foot. Free car parking is available- as long as you register your vehicle on entry ( controlled by ANP cameras on entrance.) The venue is on a lower level from car park steps along with a wheelchair ramp allows entrance through twin double manual doors. If you are eating your place your order at main bar and pay. Vouchers cash and contactless payments accepted. There is a separate pizza/burger server. The main buffet serving breakfast (all you can eat) and carvery is located at the far end, self service. The decor is in need of updating- I was informed this will be happening soon (visit mid March 2025) I was using the Octopus electricity members voucher which caused a problem on payment , it was resolved after staff contacted their IT support. Staff are friendly, efficient and informative. Some been there for 17years - says a lot. The venue is mainly for food but customers that just want a drink are welcome to select from a wide choice of beer/ lagers etc. as well as coffee/tea. Download the Stonehouse restaurant app for some savings. Picnic tables at main entrance (for smokers) along with an enclosed grass area with more comfortable picnic tables - the ones you don’t have to lift your leg over(suits me better) will definitely return for a great value breakfast, gaming machines on site. Takeaways also available. Collect or delivered to your door. Use web site to order Justeats- deliveroo - Uber Eats.

Eileen was our waitress and she was amazing, I just want to say that off the bat, she couldn’t have been more friendly or attentive if she had tried and that was what was so nice, she was genuinely friendly and hospitable. If my review was solely about her I would be giving 5 stars. The beer selection was ok, we managed to find a really nice pale ale called 61 Deep which was perfect for our evening, but all other ales were off the menu. We got an incredible deal on the burgers as well, it was 2 for 1 night on burgers and pizzas, which is such a great deal, the entire night came to £39 for 4 beers each and food, which is great. We left a nice tip as well as Eileen was like I said exemplary. The only other thing that let it down a little and this is me just being critical is that the burger patty’s were a little… cheap. That sounds so snobby I know, but it was a little let down, had they been more home made, pressed from mince and rather than 3 patty’s just one decent juicy patty it would have made it a 5 star review. I can only give me honest opinion and this would be the difference between 4 and 5 stars. I would definitely go here again and enjoyed every other part.

21.04.2025 Now, after having a lot more meals with family and friends, I would say, it's the most flexible dining option around, time, menu, parking, kids etc. Highly recommend Did takeaway yesterday instead of delivery. First visit. Very impressed. Wide variations in the menu. Excellent freshly prepared food. Friendly and helpful hosts. Ample parking, free to customers. Well stocked carvery reasonably priced. Highly recommended

Took a trip there today from Brighton with the family to enjoy the sunshine and views. The pub itself was quite busy but service didn't take too long. My husband and son had the carvery for 9.99 which they had loaded their plates up and demolished within minutes. My daughter had the pizza and garlic bread, the pizza was huge and nice but the garlic bread not so much, not really a bread but crisp pastry. My youngest son had the cheese and bacon burger with the fried chicken to start. The burger unfortunately was horrid. It was akin to Birdseye frozen burgers with bits of onion in and not tasty at all so he didn't eat. The chips were crispy and okay. But for £10 it was overpriced for frozen burger patties. I had the macaroni cheese with dougballs and garlic butter. The macaroni cheese was just wet gloop with horrid squirty cheese flavouring. The dough balls tasted funny and the garlic butter was split and tasted funny too so I didn't eat. I also ordered a treacle sponge but that never arrived even though it was asked for twice. The kids finished off with some ice-cream that they said tasted okay but the vanilla flavour was slightly funny tasting and very overly yellow in colour. If you were coming for the carvery only then yes it's recommended, for anything else off the menu I personally wouldn't recommend. In all spent over £70 and to be honest their are better places to eat...

My first time eatting at your business, Me and my partner came at dinner time around 18:45pm I have said to ny partner I have always wanted to come and eat at your place we arrived and looked at menu good value for money I must say! I orded starter which was nice the garlic bread with cheese, My partner orded tomato soup which he didn't eat some of it as it was cold which he was disappointed in! When he was eatting his starter one of the waitress had brought his main out which made him not wanting eat his starter as they had brought his main straight out when they had only just given him his starter he was not impressed, he had starting eatting his main which was the clucky burger which he had to pick burnt of the the burger and had only eatting quarter of his dinner which he had also found not very warm at all! I had a carvery and I must say the meat was awful gammon was extremely salty and Beef was really dried out! I wanted to try your pudding but my partner said "I am not eatting anything else of this place menu" which made me not want eat pudding as I wanted have nice pudding with my partner to finish our dinner experience.. we also work for Mitchell's and butlers at a toby carvery I was quiet disappointed as iv only ever heard good things and seen good reviews the lady kirsty that served me on the bar was lovely though! But am highly disappointed for the same brand I...
