Great Homer Street District Centre — Attraction in Liverpool

My mother used to take me shopping down Great Homer St in the 1950's. Shops then went from here to the town centre. How times have changed. She wouldn't recognise the area now. This large square has been created to house a new petrol station, McDonald's, Sainsbury's, Argos, charity shops and quite a few other premises. It has a very large parking area that could hold a few hundred cars. As you come into the car park a screen shows you how many places are left.
