do not send your child here. staying on campus is very isolating as it is miles away from anything the city centre is a 40 minute bus away. also their mental health facilities are terrible, in early 2024 i was really struggling and went back home (3 hours away) to try and improve my mental state. My personal tutor was not understanding at all and told me to get medicated and come back the next day as we “had classes” she had no care in the world, i was subsequently offered 2 weeks off but then to come back and was never offered any mental help from the university it was swept under the rug. i ended up dropping out from studying education, the teaching was awful anyway no support with referencing or reading the ancient articles they supply as reading each week....

The teachers and professors need to learn to reference their own work (their power points and presentations) before telling their students to reference their essays when they don't know where the teachers got their information from. We use the power points in the lectures and seminars to help write our own essays but they are not referenced? How are lectures and presentations any help to us then if we cant use the information? Hypocrites. This needs to be brought to all the lecturers' attention, and needs to be changed for less stressed out students. Better...

Disability discrimination central, i would stay far away & go to any of the other unis in lpool but hope if you have any additional needs.

Not only do they refuse to make reasonable adjustments when you get a few months into the course and completed all work staff will tell you that you should to leave the course due to your disability (A disability they knew you had when accepting you on the course)
