Veni Vidi VIVI Fabulous Italian Tapas/ Small plates at VIVI the sister of the renowned Vincenzo's on Woolton Rd South Liverpool A lovely atmosphere effortlessly achieved through the decor, cool tunes, ambient lighting and the appreciative clientele. Nina ran the show with aplomb and with the help of her team provided a welcoming, friendly, professional and attentive top notch service. We enjoyed some of their delicious dishes from the creative, well balanced modern menu and Specials Board. Three different pastas all "al dente"with a range of seafood, along with delicately dressed salad and warm Italian breads were really savoured. All washed down with a crisp & subtle chilled Orvietto an absolute cracker, selected after we had been allowed to taste three options. We had a lovely meal and experience at Vivi tonight, the food was delicious - full of flavour and satisfying. The service was great - friendly and attentive staff. I appreciated the attention in that we were given fresh plates and cutlery after some messier dishes, and they wiped the table as well. The dishes came out at a good pace - we were neither waiting for dishes, not struggling to fit them all on the table at once.

We especially loved the crab and pistachio pasta, whipped ricotta and hot honey, and the red king prawns.

Desserts.... Wow! The chocolate torta with amareno cherries and whipped marscapone was just chef's kiss. And the sweet arancino - citrus with strawberry jam and sherbet was delightful and a welcome burst of flavour.

Will definitely be back again. Food was absolutely amazing our group of 6 were completely satisfied, staff were brilliant, friendly & attentive, they don’t make you feel rushed and the vibes were spot on. Parking is on street so a little difficult to find parking when it’s busy but didn’t take too long. Had a good selection of veggie options for my vegetarian friend too. Portion sizes are on the small side so 3-4 dishes I would recommend depending on your appetite (restaurant recommends 3 dishes pp) I had 2 dishes as I’m not a big eater but the food is so nice I regret not ordering more. The restaurant is small and cozy so I wouldn’t recommend bringing younger kids that would be running around or not stay...
