Lord Nelson Memorial — Attraction in Liverpool

I grew up playing in this park and loved it right up until the new Alder Hey was built and they have ruined it behind repair, they took so if the land to build the eyesore that is called a hospital with a promise that the same amount of land would be returned once the old hospital was demolished, well that promise has not materialised and no one believes any more of the fake promises. I really miss this park as I have so many very happy memories of it and sadly that's all that is left...

Hotel ok basic. That's what I ordered. It was spoilt by a young person who had an attitude when we went in the Ibis restaurant. We turned around and walked out. Improvements to the children's area urgently needed, health & safety issue! Good improvements have been made to paths & lovely little walk through paths through the trees. Need a proper memorial for children instead of the mountain of soft toys & streamers, completely understandable but also a health & safety issue for users...
