Visited this takeaway for the first time on 14 April. We have sampled many Indian/Bangladeshi takeaways in South and East Liverpool and this is without question one of the best we have used. All our dishes were well cooked, carefully packaged (ours were put in a box as we had ordered quite a lot) which makes a pleasant change from those that try to cram everything into one carrier bag and cause leaks and spillages. Portions were generous, include 4 onion bhajis and 2 large samosas. Tarka dhal was exceptional, but the standout dish was my vegetable Madras. He advised us of the most cost effective way to order (getting a set meal and adding to it) and what dishes to try. I tried to tip him and he wouldn't accept it. He said he was happy if we were happy. Above all, he meant it. The portion sizes are good and the food is excellent. We ordered enough for 4 people and had plenty left over. Read moreI know that takeaway places pay 15%to the likes of Just Eat so ordered on their 'app'. Ordered 4 hours in advance of when I wanted food delivery. Needless to say, food late and had to be chased up by phone. When food arrived, items missing. Fella refused to answer phone. He eventually picked up then buttoned me . Rang again and he passed me on to a delivery lad who tried to get him on phone but he shouted through that he wa 'very busy '. Will go back to Uber Eats or Just Eat after this .
