Lovely pub, very elegently decorated for the Christmas season. Lots of tv's for sport. Food when it finally arrived tasted amazing. The reason I knocked 2 stars of for service is because I felt that one member of the bar staff let the side down, not once but twice. We ordered food as soon as we arrived when the pub was pretty empty. We are pretty patient people but had to go and check on the food when we saw a table who came in 15 minutes after us get their food. A seperate member of staff to who took the original order apologised and our food arrived 15 mins later(it was delicious). Needed a drink halfway through as it was spicey, went to order a drink at the bar and was told by the same member of staff who we ordered the food with that they would bring it over as it had ran out. The drink never arrived and we were on a time restraint by this point so asked for our money back for the drink. They said they hadn't had time to change it as the pub had got busy and gave us our money back or so we thought. On checking we were only refunded half the amount.
