Anahata Yoga and Shilpi have been an important part of my fitness and mindfulness journey. I started the classes (2x per week) when I was quite stressed at work and they became a constant and an important step on a journey to greater self care. Since then I have taken up other fitness classes, and I definitely have Shilpi to credit for helping me along on the journey to greater mind and body health.
Anahata Yoga caters for all levels (I've met some real beginners and some real pros), and offers classes which are either more dynamic or more meditative such as Nidra. I am personally a huge fan of Yan to Yin! It provides such a lovely balance.
As an added bonus you tend to meet really lovely and interesting people :).
Additional Review on Sadhgamaya-yoga
At Anahata I have also taken up Sadhgamaya (meditation practice) with Dinesh to complement my yoga practice but also to satisfy my interest in meditation and explorations into mindfulness apps such as Calm, Headspace and Ten Percent.
Sadhgamaya provides a different approach which puts emphasis on breath control and spirituality. It definitely feels more advanced and challenging than the app guided meditation! You come away feeling more grounded, more connected with yourself and motivated to take care of yourself both spiritually and physically in the week to come. You also learn new techniques to practice in your own time.

Read moreI have been with Shilpi for the past 2 months attending her evening and morning classes. She is lovely and very friendly taking care of everyone personally. She changes her routine every day depending on who is attending and the sessions are never boring. There are enough vinyasas to keep the flow and the breath work with meditation at the end is a bonus. From the start to the end of the hour every move is well thought about and the classes flow very smoothly. Her energy is infectious and she brings her passion to the classes.
