The Cardomom club is located in Stanmore on Belmont Circle. It has car parking spaces available at the front. The menu has recently changed a bit, but it was all so delicious. To start, I tried the garlic chilli tilapia, which was Talpia white fish, lightly friend with spices and garlic. Add a squeeze of lemon juice, and it was light and very tasty. I also tried my friends Lukhnowi samosa chaat, which is like a deconstructed samosa served with sweet yoghurt, tamarind, green chutney & pomegranate and was really delicious. Other friends had the meat (they call it a non veg platter), which they seemed to enjoy too and, of course, poppadoms as I can't live without these. For mains, I tried the Tandoori prawns (5 medium-sized) and also had a little chicken korma & sag aloo. I sometimes find the Korma sauces in some places far too sweet, but this one was creamy, nutty, and delicious as it should be! The sag also was a little spicey so careful if you don't like that kick, but they will "mild down" any dishes you request. I have to now mention the onion bhajis. It's probably one of the best I've tried. Light, crispy, and great flavours. They come in a portion of three and are quite large! The garlic chilli mushrooms, which were amazing too. Indulging in the high chai experience was an absolute delight! From the moment we walked in, we were transported to a world of vibrant flavors and exquisite presentation. The fusion of traditional English afternoon tea elements with Indian culinary artistry was a stroke of genius. The restaurant itself is beautifully presented with floral decorations and stunning lightning, making it a gorgeous spot for photos. The array of savory treats was a tantalizing journey through Indian spices and textures, each bite bursting with authenticity. The bhajias were perfectly crispy, the Bombay sandwiches a delightful twist, and the chaat bites brought a burst of tangy goodness. The mini vada pav burgers were delightful. Their ginger chai served in an authentic clay pot was the highlight, and the tea is unlimited. What truly set this Indian afternoon tea apart was the impeccable service. The staff's knowledge of the menu and their attentive yet unobtrusive approach created an atmosphere of comfort and sophistication. If you're looking to elevate your afternoon tea game and embark on a sensory adventure, this Indian-inspired twist is an absolute must-try.

Booked a table for six people 4 adults 2 young children of the age of three and four years old upon arrival we were greeted and shown to a seating area given plenty of time to browse the menu waiters very very good although he did fail massively 1 no indication of a service charge to his total disregard for the children as in I first starters came fully loaded with so much chilli pepper that even myself I couldn’t bear it so that was the starters also serving Martin as spring lamb is absolutely criminal. The starters were by all means prepared and frozen when ordering the mains we explained that we would like to make sure that the food has no chilli pepper we ordered our mains upon arrival looked very appetising. Yes again too much Chili pepper very uncomfortable for myself and the children the food itself was mediocre the best as I am Asian and have eaten in very many restaurants and this particular restaurant is a complete fraud. I was very very dissatisfied with the food. The drinks were very poorly presented in the sense that they charged so much money I ended up paying £175. I left the card in Club and on the way home I stopped at one of my favourite takeaways and pick something up for myself and my wife and the children therefore the evening costing me a grand total is £239. My recommendations are never go to the card club because it’s an absolute rip-off. The food is 10 amount to daylight robbery shame on you card Club thank you for a very uncomfortable evening and no consideration for the children. Absolutely disgusting and no mention of a service charge all in all very very very very...

Oil , sugar artificial colour filled tea cakes :Maru bhaja, bhata vara in sandwiched into bun white toast bread hard slab onion. Cakes had melted including biscuit in cheese cake Variety of cold cakes that looked like bought in Aldi or Cost co. Told to share stand between 3 pp as if you odd number party they won’t allow even one stand ! The food variety is 3 of each but they don’t tell you to share between 3.some party in our group had one stand to share between 4 but with 3 variety of food! all food cold. Macaroons with artifical colour full of sugar you can’t eat mouthful. Everything was cold! One pot of tea served in glass not even teacup. My son who doesn’t drink tea was offered one cup of coffee. No variety of teas no menu no fruit in scones. Everything was diabetics on a plate. First and last time I ever go to this place. Advised manager to go visit Cornwall of how tea cake is served. Charged £28 pp for tons of oil and sugar. Food not fit for consumption. They never even asked us for refill of tea or if everything was acceptable nothing! It was hot day but their food had melted disgusting tart ful of liquid! Cheese cake biscuit made of butter melted including orange topping that wobbled !They can learn much if they see how tea and cakes is served in English Manor House’s hotels. In this day and age when sugar is biggest killer much can be improved if they put this before profits. Very disappointing, feel scammed learned next time to tell management you won’t eat anything leave the lot and enjoy your time with guests. Best solution don’t ask even for...
