I just want to share my experienced today at Huddle Cafe, May 26, 2025 at 2:30pm. Me, my lady that I look after and her friend went to have lunch as we are regular customers and we love going there because of food and services. But, unfortunately today was not a good day because of the rudeness of one the staff. It always happened that my Lady preferred the clear glass with handle for her coffee, but that time I didn’t asked the staff at the till that it needs to be in a clear glass with handle so it was served with a cup. My lady asked me to if possible to get a clear glass with handle as she finds the cup heavy. So I went to the counter and asked this staff I don’t get the name, if possible to get a spare of those clear glasses with handle for my lady But instead giving me the glass she told me off and said I should told her at first when I ordered the drink. I was embarrassed and I felt very bad to think I didn’t do anything wrong aside of asking a spare of clear glasses with handle. She wasn’t polite so I went back to our table saying it’s fine if you don’t want to give me a glass, what a good customer service you have. We are annoyed to what she acted to think that she should be careful on what she is doing to the customer especially if a regular customer. The manager wasn’t there that we should talk about the behaviour of this staff. It’s only a small thing to ask, what for if it was more than. She never come to ask an apology or explained her side, she just ignored us when we leave. I think the huddle cafe that I speak highly to others was ruined because of that attitude that the staff showed to us…That staff should be trained well with customer services, as one day she will do it...

Unfortunately, it seems this cafe is experiencing a decline in quality. While I understand that rising produce costs may play a role, they now offer high-end cafe food in a casual setting, yet charge restaurant prices. At these rates, I would expect table service and proper glassware instead of paper cups and counter service. Perhaps this reflects broader industry trends, but it does leave something to be desired. Read moreThe coffee was good. However, the food and coffee took 25 mins to arrive (just for a panini and toasted sandwich) but it was a Saturday lunch time so we didn't make a deal of it. When the food finally came (with no apology) it consisted of a half-toasted panini and barely toasted sandwich which was very soggy and looked pretty meagre. We kindly asked them to toast them both a bit more and one of the waitress's responded very rudely and unobligingly with "I'll burn it then" (or something of this nature).
