Charming and atmospheric corner of south London. A real sense of local pride here in an area that is prone to neglect in places. Lots of treasures and even more absolute junk to be found in the various dark corners of the market buildings. The 'antiques' are generally overpriced but it's fun sifting through them all the same! Very nice local food options, especially good for vegans and vegetarians. This feels like a real market, not yet made commercial and artificially expensive like some parts of south and east London (e.g. shoreditch). The shop offers a wide variety of military cammo gear as "Vintage"...US woodland and pixilated cammo among them, some French and Rhodesian garments and few pouches, for trousers varied between 30£ to 50£, same garment cost about 15£ brand new in many online shops.
