A haphazard bamboozlement of the discarded, disdained and ditched. Here, wading knee-deep and cheek to jowl, scouring amidst the riot of colour and thingamabobs you're likely to find that elusive collectible, curio or whatchamacallit. Down to earth, authentic and atmospheric. Breaks the mould .... and sells it to you.

Small market, nice people, reasonably priced, veg/food part at the back, side entrance to another market just before the main market. Will come again.

Charming and atmospheric corner of south London. A real sense of local pride here in an area that is prone to neglect in places. Lots of treasures and even more absolute junk to be found in the various dark corners of the market buildings. The 'antiques' are generally overpriced but it's fun sifting through them all the same! Very nice local food options, especially good for vegans and vegetarians. This feels like a real market, not yet made commercial and artificially expensive like some parts of south and east London (e.g. shoreditch). Hugely recommended if only for the unique south London experience! It even has a...

Cozzy place, however got shocked when I visit the Vintage clothing shop at the very end, back to back with old cd/music shop. The shop offers a wide variety of military cammo gear as "Vintage"...US woodland and pixilated cammo among them, some French and Rhodesian garments and few pouches, for trousers varied between 30£ to 50£, same garment cost about 15£ brand new in many online shops. Hey they are used not Vintage. 90% of the military gear is overpriced. British Multicam fatigue...

A lovely market hidden down a side lane - both inside and outside with a huge variety of stuff - books, bric-a-brac, paintings, antiques, food, dvds, vinyl etc. The main building is a rabbit warren of a building with various stalls inside, lots of different stall holders and a seemingly random payment arrangement where you might have to pay a woman 5 stalls away for a book you found on a bookcase by the toilets, very interesting and...
